We always have things happening at
Nashville Violins!
We have recently added some more teaching slots, so now is a great time to get in on lessons. Our lessons run year-round, and we always pick up new students in the summer. Give us a call or stop by the shop if you are interested. Our staff can help answer any questions, and you might be surprised to hear how easy it is to get started playing an instrument at Nashville Violins.
Our Spring Recitals will be held on Friday, May 8th. We had to make some changes due to new school district policies regarding school use. We have a great facility for our recitals, and several new things we will be doing. Stop by the office for details and directions.
We are going on three years in our present location, and have now passed the 10-year mark for the business. We've made some great friends, and have seen a lot of players grow up over the years. We are looking forward to many more years and generations of bowed stringed-instrument players! If you haven't been by the shop in a while, please drop in and say hi. We always have something new and exciting going on! Click here for directions.
Our historical 90+ year-old, 4000 sq ft house that we now own was once the location of the prominent Siegrist Bakery. For many years the bakery was operated out of the basement, while the Siegrists lived and sold pies upstairs. The basement houses our larger work areas for basses and cellos, as well as provides overflow storage. The main level of this grand old house has three showroom areas; over twice the size of our old display rooms. We also have our main repair shop on this level and lots of instruments, sheet music, and other supplies! Upstairs, we have expanded our teaching facilities to four dedicated, climate-controlled rooms, allowing us to offer a more comfortable atmosphere, more teachers, and more times to fit the needs of our expanding lesson program. We offer keyboard lessons, as well as group lessons, in addition to violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddling, and Suzuki lessons. We have nine teachers on staff to accommodate any style and level of playing for any age!
We know you will feel comfortable in our old-world shop with its hardwood floors, high ceilings, and rich, dark, wood trim. Now in our 10th year of business, we are committed to providing the same outstanding service you have come to expect from Nashville Violins. Thank you for your support!
